About The Blended Approach

What is The Blended Approach?

The Blended Approach (TBA) is based on the principle that the approaches of Psychotherapy and Coaching are two sides of the same coin.

The purpose of psychotherapy is to help individuals understand and resolve personal issues and challenges. There are many different approaches and most will help you to explore past experiences, to gain understanding and awareness of the issues affecting you.

The purpose of coaching is to support individuals to achieve personal or professional goals or outcomes via a developmental process. There are also many approaches in coaching most of which focus on achieving a desired future state.

TBA enables a Coach or Psychotherapist to bring aspects of these two disciplines together to support a client to explore aspects of their past and, at the same time, work towards a different future. It is a holistic client-centred approach that enables sustainable change for the clients you support.

For clients, this means being able to explore past, present and future without having to work with different professionals. By choosing a TBA trained professional to work with, you will be able to; explore deeper aspects of your past, the issues holding you back, and create meaningful change for an aspirational future.

What does my Blended Approach look like?

My blend integrates elements of transformational coaching, humanistic psychotherapy, mediation and conflict management, leadership development, personal values and, where required, professional supervision and consultancy.

Who It’s For:

  • Coaches who want to integrate therapeutic elements safely and ethically into their practice.

  • Psychotherapists who want to expand their practice by integrating complementary coaching methods.

  • Female Executives and High-Achieving Professionals navigating personal and professional challenges, especially career transitions and the impact of Neuro-Divergence.

  • Senior Leaders needing a confidential space to discuss professional challenges and dilemmas.

  • Directors in Distress – an emergency support service for senior leaders in need of crisis support.

I use The Blended Approach as a transformational way to help all my coaching clients.

How I use The Blended Approach in executive & transformational coaching

Many professionals reach a stage where their career success no longer brings fulfilment, or they face unexpected challenges that shake their confidence. My coaching is designed for senior professionals –leaders, business owners, and executives. I created The Blended Approach to provide a structured, safe, confidential space to work through these transitions.

Key areas I focus on:

  • Burnout Recovery & Stress Management – Helping professionals develop strategies to sustain energy and motivation.

  • Career Transitions & Decision-Making – Supporting leaders in making strategic career shifts or stepping into new roles.

  • Conflict Resolution & Leadership Growth – Guiding clients through workplace challenges and team dynamics.

  • Developing Natural Leadership — Working with leaders who want to develop their natural style, to lead with ease and confidence.

This is not just career coaching—it’s deep, transformational work that helps clients redefine success on their own terms using the best of coaching and psychotherapy tools.
